About

Michael Nunan

Michael Nunan has over thirty years of experience across broadcast operations, engineering, immersive audio, live event production, facility design and education. After nearly 30 years with a major Canadian broadcaster, Michael joined Evertz Microsystems in 2023 as Senior Architect, Research and Development.

Thirty years of watching complex systems — and the people who run them — up close.

His industry work has been recognized with multiple Canadian Screen Awards and Gemini citations/nominations. In 2026 he was named an AES Fellow. He speaks frequently at industry events across North America and Europe.

He brings that same close attention to his writing — using the practitioner's vantage point to ask larger questions about craft, change, and what gets carried forward.
